These terms are designed to make purchases, events, and studio communication clear, fair, and safe for customers and for Megan Ward's studio.
These terms apply when you use this website, contact the studio, buy artwork or products, book tickets, attend events, request lessons, or otherwise interact with Megan Ward's studio.
By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the website or place an order.
Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. Orders are accepted only when payment has completed, the studio has received the order record, and the studio confirms or begins fulfilment.
The studio may refuse, cancel, or refund an order where there is a pricing error, stock error, suspected fraud, payment issue, shipping restriction, abusive conduct, breach of these terms, or another reasonable concern.
You must provide accurate billing, delivery, contact, and order information. The studio is not responsible for delays, failed delivery, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.
Every effort is made to describe artwork, prints, products, colours, sizes, framing, condition, and materials accurately. Screens, photography, lighting, and device settings may make colours, scale, texture, and detail appear different from the physical work.
Original artworks may include natural variations, marks, texture, surface changes, brushwork, or signs of the handmade process. These are part of the work and are not faults unless expressly stated otherwise.
Images on the website are for presentation and identification. Props, frames, mounts, hanging materials, or display items are not included unless clearly stated.
Prices may change at any time before an order is accepted. If a price is clearly incorrect, the studio may cancel or refund the order rather than supply at the incorrect price.
Payments are processed by Stripe or another secure payment provider. The website does not store full card numbers, CVC codes, or bank details.
Customers must not attempt fraudulent payments, unauthorised chargebacks, payment abuse, misuse of discount codes, or any activity intended to obtain goods, tickets, refunds, or services dishonestly.
Shipping times are estimates and may vary depending on packing requirements, artwork size, courier availability, destination, customs, weather, strikes, or events outside the studio's control.
Risk in the item passes to the customer once delivered to the address provided or collected by the customer or their nominated representative.
You must inspect deliveries promptly and report any damage, missing items, or delivery problems as soon as possible with photographs of the packaging and item. Do not dispose of packaging until the issue has been reviewed.
Returns and refunds are handled in line with the shipping and returns policy and applicable consumer law. Custom works, commissions, personalised items, digital products, event tickets, lessons, and sale items may have different cancellation or refund rules where permitted by law.
Returned items must be safely packed, unused, undamaged, and returned in the condition received. The customer may be responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or the law says otherwise.
Refunds may be reduced or refused where an item has been damaged, used, altered, handled beyond what is necessary to inspect it, returned late, returned without authorisation, or not returned in suitable packaging.
Event details, venues, dates, times, capacity, artists, activities, and availability may change where reasonably necessary. If an event is cancelled, affected ticket holders will be contacted using the details supplied.
Tickets, reservations, lessons, and event places may be refused or cancelled where a person behaves abusively, dangerously, unlawfully, disruptively, fraudulently, or in a way that could harm Megan Ward, attendees, staff, venues, suppliers, or other customers.
Customers attending events or lessons must follow venue rules, safety instructions, age restrictions, photography rules, and reasonable instructions from the studio or venue.
You must not use the website or studio services to harass, threaten, abuse, intimidate, defame, exploit, impersonate, spam, scrape, hack, disrupt, or harm Megan Ward, the studio, other customers, suppliers, venues, or website systems.
The studio may refuse service, cancel orders, cancel tickets, block access, keep relevant records, and report behaviour to payment providers, platforms, venues, delivery providers, advisers, or authorities where conduct is abusive, threatening, fraudulent, unlawful, unsafe, or harmful.
The studio is not required to continue communication with anyone who is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing, dishonest, or acting in bad faith.
All artwork, images, text, branding, designs, photographs, videos, graphics, and website content are owned by Megan Ward or licensed to the studio unless stated otherwise.
Buying artwork, prints, products, tickets, or services does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. You must not copy, reproduce, edit, mint, train AI systems on, sell, license, publish, or commercially use the work without written permission.
You may share links to the website or reasonable social posts crediting Megan Ward, provided the use is respectful, lawful, non-misleading, and does not imply endorsement or ownership.
You must not attempt to access admin areas, private records, databases, payment systems, source code, accounts, or restricted parts of the website without permission.
You must not introduce malware, overload the website, probe security, scrape content at scale, bypass protections, or interfere with the website's operation.
The website may use third party services for hosting, database storage, payment processing, email, image hosting, delivery, analytics, or security. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
The studio is not responsible for third party outages, platform changes, payment provider decisions, courier delays, or external service failures outside reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so. Subject to that, the studio is not liable for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of data, reputational harm, or losses caused by misuse of the website, incorrect customer information, third party services, or events outside reasonable control.
The studio's liability for an order is limited, where lawful, to the amount paid for that order.
The studio may update these terms, policies, products, prices, events, and website features from time to time. The version published on this page applies from the date it is posted.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue to apply.
